Sports Bio:

My first introduction to competition came in the sport of trapshooting at age 6.   I was fortunate enough to qualify to participate in the United States Olympic Development Program for 3 years.  This is where I gained much of my sports philosophy on the development of technical skill, mental preparation / toughness and sportsmanship while always competing against ourselves to improve on the things that we control as individuals.

In high school I participated in a Class C1 district so this provided the opportunity to play several sports such as football, baseball, basketball, golf and track (only until I made the golf team).

Softball Philosophy:

My main objective every season is to be able to look back at the end of that season and see the growth of my team not only as softball players but as young women who compete with great effort and class.  I will always attempt to pass on the knowledge that I have gained from my exposure to many great coaches and players to the young ladies that I coach.  It is with great pride that I call myself a coach at TEAM Nebraska.  It is an honor to participate in the sport of softball with a terrific group of coaches, athletes and families.
