Sports Bio
I have been involved in sports my entire life. I participated in numerous youth sports and continued to play through High School and College. I have coached my daughters’ teams in both softball and basketball for the last 5 years. Sports and competition are something that I value, and I’m excited & honored to be able to pass that on to the young girls in our organization.
Coaching Philosophy Controlling the things we can control is at the pinnacle of my coaching philosophy. Obviously, teaching the great game of softball to our girls is something that is important to our success. Our intent to play the game with great speed, intensity, and all-out effort is something that our team will learn. While learning how to play in this manner, we will not overlook or choose to forget about respecting the game, our opponents, or the umpires. We will compete in every game, but will do it the right way—The TEAM Nebraska way.
