TEAM Nebraska is a Nationally Respected Select Softball Organization for players of all ages and abilities. Our Focus is to build TEAMs that focus on fundamentals, teamwork, pride, respect for the game, and communication. TEAM Nebraska is the home of the 2009 ASA 16A ASA Metro Champions, ASA 16A State Champions, & the 2009 USSSA 18Major State Champions. In 2010 we won the USSSA 12B State Championship & the ASA 18A State Championship! In 2011 we again won the 18A 2011 USSSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! 2012 We fielded 10 TEAMs we won the 10B USSSA State Championship and won the 16A USSSA State Championship! I am so proud of this TEAM Family!!! GO TEAM!!

TEAM NEWS!!!! I am very honored and excited to announce the hiring of Mary Yori to TEAM Nebraska Softball Mary’s role - Director of Coaching Development and Player Welfare
Mary has 25 years of collegiate coaching experience. Masters Degree in Education and Coaching. Expert in the field of teaching, coaching and training athletes and coaches. Life Coach Certification.
At UNO, (1988 - 1999) she won nearly 75 percent of the games she coached, the fifth-highest figure in NCAA Division II history. On Nov. 7, 2007, Yori was inducted into the UNO Hall of Fame for her coaching accomplishments. Prior to becoming the head coach at UNO, Yori was an assistant at Creighton University, her alma mater. She played for the Blue Jays, earning All-America honors twice and leading her team to the College World Series three consecutive years from 1980-82. Yori was inducted in the Creighton Hall of Fame in 1992.
Twice in her coaching career at UNO she was selected by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as the NCAA Division II Coach of the Year, in `94 and again in `96.
Yori was named Colorado State's head softball coach in July of 2000, and immediately put in place a plan to build the school's softball program into one of the nation's finest. Mary Coached there from 2000 - 2010 before retiring from College Softball.

 CHRISTMAS PARTY was a huge success! 160 Players and 40 TEAM Family members took over Maplewood Bowling Alley on Dec. 1st for our 3rd Annual Christmas Bowling Party! It was a blast!!! I LOVE my TEAM!
TEAM Nebraska GIVES THANKS! 11/21/2012 TEAM Nebraska wants to give thanks to our 220 Baseball and Softball Families. With 13 Girls Softball TEAMs going into our 5th Season & 7 Boys Baseball TEAMs in our 1st year we are truly blessed to have so many dedicated and talented players from over 35 Towns and Cities in four different states. Softball has seen a 4 year growth from 4 TEAMs in 2009 - to 13 TEAMs in 2012/13. We have signed 34 players to college scholarships and we have won 7 State Championships in USSSA & ASA competition in these first 4 years! We are Thankful for the support of our families in Building out TWO indoor facilities. One facility is a 4,900sq.ft facility with 6 Tunnels in Gretna and NOW the Grand Opening of our 2nd Facility on Dec. 17th a 15,000sq. ft facility with 12 Tunnels on 135th & I. TEAM Nebraska Administration and it's 42 Coaches want to thank all of our parents, supporters, and sponsors for an amazing 2012 and we look forward to 2013 and the growth in the future! Classroom, Offices, & Rightview Pro System. This facility is one of the top privately owned indoor training facilities in the Mid West. I want to thank all the current and past players, parents, and supporters for all they have done over the past 4 seasons to make this dream a reality.

CONGRATULATIONS! to our 34 signees in just our first four seasons! Katelyn Wobken has announced her decision to accept an Athletic Scholarship to attend Wayne State College. Katelyn Wobken a Junior at Scribner HS has announced she will accept a scholarship to play softball at Wayne State College in Wayne, NE. Although a very tough decision it came down to family tradition, being able to play with her sister Shelby who is currently a freshman at Wayne, and just the overall scholarship offer and feel for the school and coaches. It was a very tough decision as Creighton showed late interest and UNO had made a good offer too. Katelyn is a very talented player who can excel anywhere WSU coaches put her, but she is at home behind the plate and should have that option in college. Katelyn also joins her current teammate Alyssa Schropp from TEAM GOLD! I am very happy for the entire Wobken Family as they will have both girls playing on the same college team. GO WILDCATS!!!
Megan Stegman has announced her decision to accept a Academic & Athletic Scholarship from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Megan Stegman a Senior at Washington County HS in Washington, KS. has announced that she will be taking her softball skills to UNO to play for the Mavericks in the fall of 2013! Megan is an Versatile Utility Player who can steal bases and run down balls in the outfield but also plays Catcher, and Infield will challenge in all of those areas. We are very fortunate that she has selected TEAM Nebraska in her final select season. Megan is a competitor and is up for the challenge at UNO and I am excited for her and her family on this signing! Great Job Megan. GO MAVERICKS!!! Alyssa Schropp has announced her decision to accept a Athletic Scholarship to attend Wayne State College. Alyssa Schropp a Senior at Hastings St. Cecilia HS has made her decision and signed with Wayne State College in Wayne, NE. Alyssa can play anywhere in the infield for the Wildcats and will prove to be a force for their program. Alyssa has been with TEAM Nebraska for four years and has played every inning of every game and has been an impact in the growth of our program! Alyssa signed a College Softball Scholarship without playing one inning of softball in High School! I am so happy for her and her familiy and wish her the absolute best! GO WILDCATS!!!
Allie Ladd has announced her decision to accept a Athletic Scholarship to attend Missouri Western State University. Allie Ladd a Senior and Westside High School has made her decision to attend and play softball for the Missouri Western State University Griffons. Allie had several options as Emporia State made a late push and University of Sioux Falls have been recruiting Allie for over a year. But when all was said and done Allie loved the Campus, the proximity to home, the coaching staff and the path the program is on. Allie is a very talented pitcher and carried TEAM 16A's to an 86-8 record last year and a 3rd place finish at Nationals. Allie will be joining TEAM Nebraska standout Taylor Anding who has been a regular at SS for the Griffons and Brooke and Taylor Schaben. I am excited for MWSU to have 4 of our TEAM kids all at once. Allie will surely be an immediate impact in the circle for the Griffons and look forward to seeing Allie pitch at the Div II National Tourney juring her tenure at MWSU. Allie has had a huge inpact on TEAM as an organization and on me as a coach. I look forward to her final season with TEAM and wish her the absolute best on her choice of Missouri Western State University! GO GRIFFONS!!!
Morgan Teuscher has announced that she will accept a Athletic Scholarship to attend Minnesota State University. Morgan Teuscher a Senior at Westside High School has announced her decision to play softball for Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. Morgan had several choices to bring her catching skills to other schools but decided on MSU after her visit last weekend. Morgan is a standout catcher and consistent hitter and will surely be an impact player for the Mavericks Softball program. MSU has a rich tradition as a tremendous softball school behind the long time coaching of Lori Meyer and staff! Morgan has really become a standout player and a example for TEAM players to follow her and becomes our 30th College Commit in just 4 seasons. I am SO proud of her as she has played for me these past three years since we were a 14B TEAM, she has been instrumental in allowing us to go 18GOLD in just 4 years of work. I wish Morgan the absolute best! GO MAVERICKS!!!
Kayleigh Hill has announced that she will play softball for the University of Northern Colorado. Kayleigh Hill a 2012 Graduate of Millard West HS has announced she will take her softball skills to the field for UNC Bears in the fall of 2012. Kayleigh a standout infielder will play infield for Mark Montgomery and will make an impact on the UNC Softball program. I am very excited for and proud Kayleigh for pursuing this opportunity. Taylor Schaben has announced she will accept an Athletic and Academic scholarship to attend Missouri Western State University in St. Joeseph, MO. Taylor Schaben a Senior at Harlan HS in Iowa has announced her decision to accept a athletic and academic scholarship to play softball for the MWSU Griffons. She will join former TEAM player Taylor Anding who will be a junior next season. Taylor is a perfect 4.0 student who had several options to bring her abilities to other schools but loved the way the staff, players, and coaches made her feel on her visit to Missouri Western. Taylor is excited to get to work in helping the Griffons get to the NCAA Div II National Championships. MWSU is getting a hard working athlete that can play several positions and aa tremendous hitter who is a great teammate. We wish Taylor the absolute best! GO Griffons!

Sadie Bolze a Senior at Concordia High School has announced her decision to attend Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. Sadie is accepting an academic and athletic scholarship to play both softball and basketball for the Defenders starting in the fall of 2012. Sadie is an outstanding student athlete who has a perfect 4.0 GPA and recently was awarded the NCPA Academic All State Award for softball. Sadie is in her third year with TEAM and has shown that hard work and dedication pays off. I am very proud of Sadie and know she will make a huge impact on the Defenders athletic teams. Bailey Schulenberg a Senior at Lincoln Southwest HS has announced that she has accepted an academic and athletic scholarship to play softball for the UNO Mavericks in the fall of 2012. Bailey is an outstanding student who have several choices to make in deciding where to play her college softball. In the end choosing to stay closer to home at a school that she loves. Bailey is a strong & consistent left hand hitter and plays outfield where she has been a mainstay for the LSW program for three years. Kelsey Christensen a Senior at Hastings High School who has been with TEAM for 3 years has announced that she will be attending Holy Cross University and become a Crusader in the fall of 2012! Kelsey is an amazing student and was offered a scholarship after her visit to Boston last week. Kelsey is a great leader and will contribute to the Holy Cross Softball program right away and start an amazing journey in the East as she gets one of the best educations in a top Academic School. Shelby Wobken has accepted an academic and athletic scholarship to attend Wayne State College. Shelby Wobken a senior at Scribner High School has announced that she will be attending Wayne State and play Softball for the Wildcats in the fall of 2012. Shelby is a pitcher / 1b who hits the ball very well and should be able to contribute right away for the Wildcats. Shelby does not just excel on the field but in the classroom too! She carries a perfect 4.0 Grade Point Average and is involved in many other activities at her school including National Honor Society, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Basketball, & Track just to name a few. Calhoun HS has announced that she will accept a offer to play Softball and attend the College of St. Mary in Omaha in the fall of 2011. Hannah is a very powerful player who plays 1B & 3B and hits for power. Hannah has the ability to impact the Flames lineup immediately. Liz Dike a Junior from Lincoln Southwest HS has announced that she will accept an amazing softball scholarship offer to play for the Creighton Bluejays in the Fall of 2012. Liz is a very talented athlete who can play many positions but has played shortstop for two-time State Champion LSW. Liz has run 2.81-2.84 from H-1B on several occasions and jumped a 24.5 vertical in recent camps at Creighton and Drake. Liz had several offers and interest from several other Div.1 and Div.II schools including conference foes Drake and UNI and the Big XII's Iowa State along with UNO. Liz is a tremendous hitter who could impact the Jays offensive lineup right away. Liz is a competitor and great student and a leader who respects her coaches and fellow teammates. Ashley Kuntz has accepted an athletic and academic scholarship to attend Concordia University in Seward, NE. Ashley Kuntz a 2011 Graduate of Concordia HS has announced that she will accept a Academic & Athletic scholarship to attend Concordia University in Seward, NE and play Basketball and intends to also play softball in the fall of 2011 for the Bulldogs. Ashley is a power hitting outfielder who has the potential to hit one out at any given at bat. Ashley also pitches. Brooke Schaben has accepted a softball scholarship to attend the University of South Dakota. Brooke Schaben a 2011 Graduate from Harlan HS in Harlan, Ia. has announced she will accept a Academic and Athletic scholarship to attend University of South Dakota and play for the Coyotes in the Fall of 2011. Brooke is a Pitcher who is a multi facetted softball player who can play several positions. A very talented offensive player who can hit for power and average. We are excited for Brooke who will join Paige Policky a former TEAM player at USD. Great job Brooke we are proud of you! Jamie Zimmerer has accepted a scholarship to attend College of St Mary. Jamie Zimmerer a 2011 Graduate from Plattsmouth, NE has announced that she will take her softball talents to College of St Mary for the fall of 2011. Jamie is a Pitcher / Outfielder who swings a great bat and will be an amazing addition to the Flames softball program! We are excited for Jamie and her family!

Kayla Hardiman a 2011 Graduate from Lewis Central HS in Council Bluffs has announced that she will accept a Academic and athletic scholarship to attend Iowa State University and play for the Cyclones in the Fall of 2011. Kayla is a very talented hitter and a versatile player who can catch and play every position in the infield. Kayla is a Straight A Student and carries a 4.0 GPA. We are excited to have a player of Kaylas abilities playing in the Big XII! I look forward to following Kayla and seeing her hit against the top teams in the Region. We are very proud of her!

Taylor Anding a Senior from Papillion LaVista South HS has announced that she will accept a Athletic and Academic Scholarship to play for the Griffons in the fall of 2010. Taylor is a seasoned shortstop who swings the bat with power and is a great leader for her HS and TEAM Nebraska. She carries a 4.0 in the classroom and scored well on her ACT. Taylor is a Class A Honorable Mention player and four year starter for PLVS. Most of all Taylor is one of the most quality players to ever wear a TEAM Nebraska Uniform. We are proud of her and MWSU are getting a great addition to their program.

Becca Changstrom a Senior from Lincoln Southwest HS has announced that she will accept a Athletic & Academic Scholarship to play for the Bluejays. Becca is a 4.0 student and recently received a 31 on her ACT. Becca is the Class A All State Captain 2 years in a row, selected to the NFCA Regional Team, and is the Gatorade Player of the Year for Nebraska in Softball two stright years 2008 & 2009. Kate Erickson Accepts Central Community College Softball Scholarship. Central City Graduate Kate Erickson has elected to attend CCC in Columbus for two years on her path to play Major College Softball. Kate also pitches and plays infield and will be utilized in all aspects at CCC. This is a huge aquisition for Central CC.
Miranda Fleming Accepts Jacksonville University College Softball Scholarship. Millard West Senior Centerfielder Miranda Fleming has elected to attend Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL. Mirandas great play this summer as a mainstay Centerfielder for TEAM Nebraska has landed her in a Div.1 School that plays such powers as Florida State and Florida each year in conference play. I know Miranda will be an impact in the Dolphins Outfield! We are proud of you!
Paige Wilson Accepts Wayne State College Softball Scholarship. Paige Wilson of Shenandoah HS in Iowa has selected Wayne State College in Wayne, NE as her choice of where she will be playing College Softball.
